The Byzantines are a niche topic, yet I feel that this venue is one of the best for spreading knowledge about the Empire. On YouTube, there are countless of channels that are devoted to history.

This video by the History YouTube channel, Kings and Generals, is one of the best on Byzantine history. Unlike most history YouTube channels, this channel has high quality visuals as well as great narrator who manages to bring gravitas to the videos.
The Byzantine perspective on the Crusades is an important one to have and it is nice to see that people are now trying to expand the idea of the Crusades beyond the idea of Muslims vs Christians.
Units of History-Byzantine Fire Ships
Great video by Invicta on the Greek fire ships that helped to save the Byzantine Empire from being conquered on multiple occasions. These are great example of Byzantine ingenuity in the face of huge odds. In many ways, the myth of Greek Fire is similar to the great bronze works of Shang China.

A great animated video that showcases the great siege of Constantinople in 1453. Here you can see the movement of troops and artillery on the map. This YouTube channel is one of the best when it comes to talking about military strategy in the Middle Ages.
